You will love the hilarious fiery interactions between the mother and mother-in-law. The animals in this book truly won me over. They're as hysterical as the moms. I laughed all through the book. It is really funny.Still, the humor is just a bit overdone at times, which is why I can't quite give it 5 stars, but this is still a very good, fun book. It will definitely make you appreciate your own mother and mother-in-law a little more and have you laughing. For me, that's always a great thing, but if you're looking for a mystery cozy with a more serious tone, this book may not be for you. When you need a laugh, though, this is the book for you. Started reading Assault with A Deadly Glue Gun in the evening - and couldn't put it down until the end (at 4 am). As a "Jersey Girl" I can attest that Anastasia Pollack is the real thing - smart, funny, sassy, over scheduled and beset by everything that is good and bad in New Jersey. The men who float in and out of her life are also "Jersey" - gorgeous hunks, rotten husbands, organized crime members! And the women...hilarious! I've met them all right here in the Garden State.
